Resident's Panel Meeting - Square Mile Reports

This week on Square Mile Reports we went along to the Resident’s Panel meeting at Fosse Library on Mantle Road. This was the third occasion that the group had met. During the meeting residents discussed any issues or concerns they may have regarding the local area. The group also discussed the formation of the Community First Panel which will decide how the £30,000 the Fosse Area has been awarded will be spent.  The community first panel is a a £80 million government-funded initiative that will help communities come together to identify their strengths and local priorities in order to plan for their future and become more resilient, funding both new and existing community groups. We spoke to local residents,  Jason Wood the Research Director for the Square Mile project and a Youth Development Student from DMU.
